IT’S A LITTLE MORE PERSONAL OVER HERE
Hi! I’m the person behind Onassis Web Media.
It looks like you found my little corner of the internet! I’m Rachel Onassis.
Growing up for me was really tumultuous and while looking for some kind of escape, I ended up developing interest and skills in the world of art at a young age. My first memories of drawing and reading books about art were when I was about 5 years old. I delved into every crevice of art from sketching to painting to fashion design to music.
I spent a chunk of my teen years into early 20’s singing, writing songs and recording a few albums. While finding inspiration for lyrics I began reading mythology and exploring around northeastern US studying architecture; that’s where I realized my love for Greek and Latin architecture and art.
You’ll see elements of that in my branding and around my site because my love for those cultures’ artistic flair has very much informed not only how I design websites, but how I view beauty and the world around me. Whether it’s a song, a piece of clothing, a painting, a poem, or yes, even a website, I’ve always believed in things that feel eternal and evoke emotion.
Even in the professional world, I think those things are still incredibly important. Your work is emotional + personal. So, I take these values into my work to create an environment of inclusion, compassion and understanding when dealing with others.
THE TEA?
I’m a Pennsylvania native, rule-breaker, traveler (living between countries atm!), neurodivergent, a little chaotic and I don’t get the hype around Jim and Pam.
The numbers don’t lie…
